Office hours (CH 351), Spring 2013:
M-Th 8:00-8:30am and 11:30am-2:00pm

Teach Academic ESL, which includes different levels of the core curriculum (grammar, reading, listening-speaking & composition) as well as elective courses such as pronunciation, TOEFL preparation, business English and multiskill workshop.

Educational Background:
University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC - MA in linguistics, May 1998. Thesis: Acquisition of English Past Time Verbal Morphology by Instructed Adult Learners of a Second Language. Graduate courses included a variety of both theoretical and applied linguistics.

Educational Experience:
Central Piedmont Community College, Instructor, Academic ESL. Since 1984, in that program, teach all levels of listening-speaking, grammar, composition, and reading as well as special topics courses. Over 30 years of ESL/EFL experience in proprietary programs, universities, and community colleges both within and outside the United States.
