EMPLOYMENT 2005-Current BMW Instructor Central Piedmont Community College CPCC Matthews, North Carolina My exemplarily expertise over an 11 year period in the automotive field has privileged me the opportunity to instruct CPCC’s BMW Associates Degree Program at the young age of 26. My enthusiastic approach to class and lab instruction has accelerated our student success, making our BMW manufacturer program the model for the rest to follow. We have consistently met the goals of the industry and continue to make improvements to enhance our student’s employability skills. I regularly meet with the factory trained regional technical engineers to stay up to date with the latest policy and procedures to ensure that our students have the latest information available to them at all times. Our students have competed and won at the Skills USA state championship in 2009 which I have advised and participated in since 2009. I develop all of my own presentations and course curriculum while continuing to enhance my skills by learning from other technicians, educators and corporate authority figures. I am the pioneer of BMW’s technical training advanced diagnostics course which I instructed in the summers of 2007-2009. Instruction is a passion of mine, not a job. I enjoy teaching all areas of the vehicle and demonstrate a nitch for making complicated subjects easy to understand.
2002-2005 Advanced Level Automotive Technician Hans Auto New Paltz, N.Y. Automotive service technician specializing in all areas of European and Asian manufacturer’s vehicle diagnostics and repairs. My vast knowledge and expertise of working on lots of different makes and models has advanced my understanding to the many ways manufacturers develop their own technology. I have a very broad technical background and am familiar with almost all late model aftermarket diagnostic equipment. I am thorough in my diagnostics and repairs of all vehicle systems. I enjoy heavy engine work and diagnostics of all types. My dealership experience enlightened me to clock management and repair documentation. I consistently met the flat rate expectations of the job at hand even though I was a salary paid technician.

1997-2001 C Level Technician Hans Auto New Paltz, N.Y. Entry level service technician. I consistently met the expectations of the owner and worked 25 hours a week while I finished high school.
1994-1997 C Level Technician Heritage Auto New Paltz, N.Y. Entry level service technician. At the age of 14 I took my first automotive job at this general repair facility. I worked 7 days a week averaging between 50 and 70 hours of vehicle repair tasks. My first job was an engine R&R on an international truck with a 350. From there I did many jobs ranging from heater cores, transmissions, clutches, axles, engine swaps and even some restoration work. It was a great experience for me at a young age to develop my skills in the automotive repair field.
