BSLA Georgetown University MS/MIS University of Virginia Various Professional and Trade courses, including PricewaterhouseCoopers' consulting, Datawarehousing, Customer Relationship Management "boot camps" and seemingly endless trade show sessions from SIGSCE to Comdex and beyond.

Educational Experience:
Taught basic consulting and programming with PricewaterhouseCoopers, taught skiing at Wintergreen, VA, and started with CPCC as adjunct faculty in the spring of 2001. I started teaching full time in the Fall of 2001. I lead workshops for educators and kids, and teach graduate classes at AppState.

Publications:
I have NUMEROUS post-it notes throughout both my office and home. I present at conferences throughout the education community, focusing on Moodle, distance education, and free software tools.

Interests:
Lots of things- Psychology, linguistics, economics, wind and watersports, skiing, international affairs, software development, project management, religion, ubiquitous computing, brass, copper, and bronze, craftsmanship, design, visualization...

Other Information:
I have lived in New Mexico, DC, Virginia, and North Carolina, as well as Saudi, Egypt, Germany, and Senegal. I have five children and have been through many cats (lest you mistakenly confuse children with pets). My goal in life is to get into heaven - or, barring that, at least to stay out of hell.
