B.A. in Spanish and Psychology from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
M.S. and Ph.D. in Family and Child Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Go Hokies!)

Educational Experience:
Two years at Virginia Tech, one year at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, two years at Southeast Missouri State Universtiy, two years at York Technical College, and 15 years of community-based workshops and trainings. Started at CPCC in August of 2001.
